Square 1 Inspections is a Certified Radon Testing Agency
Radon is an invisible, odorless gas that can cause a number of health problems for you and your family members or employees. The most serious of which is lung cancer. The EPA recommends Radon testing in any enclosed space where there’s a chance of radioactive materials found to be in a state of decay in the local soil bed.
In the Mid-West, the soil is especially susceptible to Radon permeation. In most areas, real estate transactions will not be able to close until a suitable Radon measurement has taken place. At Square 1, we take Radon seriously and our measurement techniques are pulled straight from the EPA playbook. Further, our inspectors are InterNACHI-certified for Radon detection and measurement.
